Tell Darrin ~ Anni Magness Sent You
So He Should Treat You Nice!

On my birthday, December 18, 2006, my honey and I decided to take a ride to Miller's Chrysler dealership in Martinsburg. This is where his mom n dad bought their wagon in 1999. Ever since the hard top Cruisers came out in 1999, I fell in love with them. Then, I wasn't able to afford one and I'm glad I wasn't at that time. I saw a convertible on the cover of a Chrysler magazine and oh my goodness, oh my goodness!!! I wanted one of them instead of the hard top.
Finally, in 2006 we were able to talk turkey.

I was nervous but excited at the same time. Darren came out to greet us and he showed us this beautiful new little toy. He wanted me to get behind the wheel and test drive it around a few blocks. After much persuasion I drove it and he and my honey were in the car with me as I drove away. Wow!! What pick up! This baby has a turbo engine and it can get from here to there in less time it takes me to tie my shoes. heheheee. The color is called "Inferno Red". And red just so happens to be my favorite color. Never in my life have I ever had a convertible, let alone a brandy new vehicle.

Well, I'm excited to say on April 22 of this year, I made my last payment. This baby is all MINE!!
Free and clear! And this past Wednesday I got the Title in the mail!
What a wonderful feeling to be "paid in full!"

I told Darren I'll try and send all my friends to him who are in the market for a new vehicle. He's a pretty good salesperson and he's even a kewl dude! Heheeee. If you're ever in the neighborhood, and even if you're not in the market for buying, drop by and take a look at what's new.
Tell Darren I sent you. He'll treat you like a friend!

ThanQ, Darren, for helping me to make up my mind!

eMail: lynngreer24@yahoo.com

Well it's official! Lynn has joined the work force that helps to make women feel beautiful about themselves! She works with a lot of women; at church she sees a lot of women; when she drops Topher off at school, there again are women, not to mention some of her friends are women, and I'm sure they all know by now that Lynn is an Avon representitive. Wherever she goes there is bound to be a woman or two who would be interested in Avon Products. Personally, I think Avon has a lot of kewl merchandise. I really don't know a woman who don't like any of the products. It's been around forever, and it's a proud sponsor for the Breast Cancer Foundation. Being a woman, myself, that's a very important issue. And they have satisfied women all across the country.

All her life, Lynn has been a happy camper. She always took the time to help, anyone! This will be good for her because she gets along well with people, it just comes naturally, and Lynn loves to talk. HeHeeHee. She can help you decide what it takes to make you feel beautiful!

Whether you're interested in purchasing nail polish, bubble bath, jewelry and now they even have clothing, or if you're interested in becoming a representitive, I invite you to contact Lynn. I'm quite sure she'll be there to help you decide.

Good luck, My Lynni, I love you. And I pray this works for you!

TOGETHER
WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY GUYS

Patti and Sam have been married for as long as I can remember. HeHeHee. We've been married for it will be 20 years the 28th of this month. Their anniversary is 3 days earlier than ours and we try and celebrate them together some years. I hope we can get together this year. I'd like to take a trip to Rehoboth Beach and then they can come for a visit and we can at least have a nice dinner and walk on the boardwalk or something fun.

A NEW TOY ~ The Day After

Well, yesterday was a lot of fun. We soaked in the hot tub, and I was able to stay put! I stayed in the full 15 minute cycle, the sun was shining on us and it was nice and warm...the way I like the weather. Then I decided to get out cuz I felt I was getting waterlogged. As I got out, I felt intoxicated.

I went into the house and I had an uncontrollable desire to lay down. I told my honey I need a nap. I laid on my bed, fell asleep, and before I knew it, almost 3 hours had passed by. Wow! The tub knocked me out! Maybe cuz it was my first time and wasn't use to the motion but I'll give it another go just to see if it is, in fact, the tub that knocked me for a loop for so long a time. In any case, my honey sure has a lot of fun with it. As a matter of fact, he seems to have fun 99% of each n every day. He sure is a great honey...I think I'll keep him. HeeHeee

A NEW TOY

I think this picture needs an explanation. My honey bought these swim trunx last year but never had a chance to wear them. These trunx have drawstrings at the leg openings that just hang there. If you want, you can gather the strings and tie them. My honey is the type of guy, who, at a party, would be the one wearing the lamp shade on his head just for a laugh. Goes the same for these trunx. Just for a laugh, he decided to tie the strings and pull the trunx up as far as they can go. I thought it was hilarious so I had to snap the picture. As always, he keeps me entertained.

Well it's official... we now own a hot tub. And of course my honey is in it more often than not. It's called a "HOT TUB 2 GO". We rent where we live so we're not allowed to install a regular hot tub. If and/or when we need to move, we can just drain it, break it down and take it with us. My honey's been wanting one for a long time! This is perfect for him. It's got a pump and filter so it stays pretty clean. I guess we need to see as we go just how often we need to change the water... Only thing, we fill it with the garden hose which is cold, well water so it takes several days to get it to the desired temperature which is (104*). Then we push a button to turn the pump on which controls the JETS.

I got in it for the first time yesterday. I've never cared for them as much as my honey does, cuz... every hot tub I've ever been in, don't allow me to stay seated or relaxed. One thing; I'm too short to sit and stay on the seats. I float; which makes for instability and I wind up doing a blub, blub, blubbing kind a thing. I can't just lay back and enjoy it, the water and jets just won't let me.

This one is different. It's about 5' across, and it feels like stepping on a "float" on the bottom. The whole thing is inflatable so I can sit and stay put!! Yeaaaa. And I'm able to be comfy which is a good thing. The jets aren't bad either. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge). There's a ring of them all around the bottom and only one speed. The timer lasts for 15 min. One cycle. During this cycle, the water temp starts to go down and as the timer turns off, the water is about body temperature (98*) which is not a bad thing. It's good cuz I think 15 minutes is plenty long for me at one sitting. And I'd go in it only if the sun is out and the weather is nice and warm. Wow, That sounds like today!

So, I'm gonna go and enjoy my honey and his hot tub.
TTFN!(ta-ta for now)

A DAY OF REJOICING!

Pastor Dan & Honey, MaryAnn

Pastor Dan @ Mom's Funeral

It was in June of 2006 we met Pastor Dan. We were arranging a funeral for Bruce's dad and we didn't really have a preacher to perform the services. The funeral director suggested Dan. He came to the house, and he and I both realized we met before... I served him several times when I worked at the Appalacian Restaurant some 10 or 12 years ago. He then was in the Insurance business and he also belonged to the Rotary Club which met there for their meetings over lunch. Mom fell in love with him and decided we should attend his church on Sundays. We did every chance we had when mom felt strong enough to go. Last summer, Ellen and Rocky, Sister n Brother-in-law, and even Devon n her twins, niece and girls, came to our church every chance they got and fell in love with everything about it. It's quaint and "personable". And the people are really sweet.

Well, since that time in our life, we lost Bruce's mom from COPD, and his sister, Ellen from breast cancer. With a total of 6 people we know and love, we are numb to the fact that they have all passed within the last almost 2 years. As we get older and people passing, makes us ponder our own mortality.

Mom & Dad

Mom asked that we continue to go to Dan's church and we have. Which brings me to my great news. A few weeks ago Pastor Dan called me. He reminded me that I expressed an interest in joining his church. He said he was having a class for those who wish to join. We were still snowed in then and couldn't get out so we missed the first class and couldn't go to church either. We melted and went to the 2 remaining classes. There were about 10 of us and he helped us to understand the ways of the Methodist Church. Then we, as a group, will get affirmed, reaffirmed or baptized into the Methodist church. Because Bruce n I were baptized before, we didn't need to be again.

My Honey, Bruce, & Me

On Easter Sunday, our class gathered in front of the church and congregation affirming our vows and being anointed. Wow! What a wonderful feeling to be dedicated to the church on such a special day! Our daughter, Peggy, wanted to be there but was unable to attend. Our daughters, Angela and Lynn, came with their families and witnessed this poinient event. It touched me so much that I was crying as Pastor Dan finished the service. I was thinking of mom and felt her arms around us both. Things like this are really, very important to me and I love sharing these times with my family. We were given certificates and had to stand in a welcoming line as people greeted us and welcomed us into their church.

These Are Our Certificates

We already grew fond of a few members. Bonnie, the organist, and the Choir members have asked me to join the choir. I'm not one for being obligated to do something or be somewhere but the more I think about it, the more I think I may join. I know I want to bring in fresh ideas to events we'll have from time to time. Bruce can cook.. I mean he really can cook and bake just as well, if not more than me. We were always taught that women were meant to do the cooking n such but my honey spoils me; I like to think I deserve it! heheheee. Anyway, I wanted to share this with you because it really moved me. What is the most touching and most important thing to me through all this is the fact that my honey comes to church with me and doesn't mind it. We like it! We get our blessings each Sunday! He feels comfortable and likes Pastor Dan. They are all so warm and sincere.
ThanQ Mom, We truly love you!

As you can see there aren't any pictures of that Easter Sunday @ church. But I remember a woman taking pictures during our ceremony. I'll ask her if I can get some copies of them. When I do, I will post them.

Peace Be With You And Yours!
