You Mean The World To Me
You give me all I need
In my day to day life.
You give me love
You give me friendship
You are supportive when I need it
You leave me alone when I need to be alone
You are as close to perfect as anyone can be
Thank you for always being there for me!

I Love You

A WINTER TO BEAT ALL WINTERS

I've been reading Blogs of people and their snow dilemmas, so I decided to show our neck of the woods. As you can see I included pictures of what our place should look like and ones of what they look like this week. I'm not sure when we will get out of here. Cy hasn't come to plow our road yet and it's gonna take great effort to dig the wagon out so Lynn can return to work. At least if Cy plows they can walk down to where the wagon is buried and if the main road is clear maybe they can make it to the store. We are running out of necessities. My honey tried to walk to his shed several times and he fell so many times. We need to get to the heating and air conditioner unit on the side of our house to clear the snow around it, but the snow is waist deep for my honey and he was only able to get half way. So I pray it doesn't give us trouble. Of course Christopher is loving it! Today Lynn fell in the snow on the back deck and he thought it was kewl to try and bury her. Ghees, I hate snow, I hate cold and I hate winter!! I am soooo looking forward to Spring. I must admit, anywhere I go I love it when I come home and stay put. But I am getting overwhelmed with all this snow and I am starting to want to go, anywhere! Ever since I broke my ankle in 2005, I am petrified of falling. So I think I'm gonna stay put til Spring unless we get dug out.

We Couldn't Even Get It Up To Our Driveway

Here Across Our Road, You Can Plainly See,
Is An Abandoned Cemetery

This Is What We See As Our Driveway

I know this is the worse storm ever as they said on the news. I hate all of it. But I am thankful for all my blessings; each other, our health, such as it is, a roof over our heads, and I thanQ God for not letting the electricity go out. There are sooo many without power for days now, I really feel for all of them.

God bless you and keep all of you safe!!

I JUST HAVE TO SHARE

NELSON ♥ ANGELA

I just have to tell you about NELSON. He will soon be another great son-in-law who will be marrying my middle daughter, Angela. They are planning a May 8th wedding in the gazebo in their community. Nelson chose that date because, MAY = Me And You, and 8th because it resembles the Infinity symbol.

Nelson use to be Amish and when they get a certain age, they are allowed to choose whether to stay in their community or enter the outside world. He, of course, chose the world. No wonder with his hunger for knowledge, he wanted to learn all he could about what, where, why, and how things happen.

Among the many things he has to offer the world, he writes poetry, keeps a private journal and makes beautiful things with his hands. Here are just a few of many.

Angela In An Amish Outfit

Angela wanted to see how she would look wearing an outfit the Amish women wear daily so she got one from Nelson's family. BTW, his whole family chose to leave their community.

I Can't Remember The Name For This Fish
But I Know It's A Christian Symbol

When He Was In Amish Community, They Use To Congregate For A "Barn Raising"
Where Everyone Got Together To Help Build Buildings. Imagine Building Things Without Power Tools. This Is A Scale Model Of A Building They Would Build

This Past Christmas, Nelson Made This "CROWN" For His Princess.
They Just Had To Bring It To Show Us

And Of Course I Had To Take Pictures Of It

If We Ask Him Nicely, He May Make Something For Us.
